SafeCare Assessment Results 2021
The results of the Safecare Assessment conducted between November 29th to December 3rd 2021, were released in a meeting at the Hospital Guest House, attended by the Management and all Departmental Leads. The Safecare representative Meggy Agola commended the hospital on its commitment to provide holistic quality, safe, affordable, accessible and acceptable health services to the patients.
St. Mary’s Mission Hospital Mumias was conferred SafeCare Level 4 status.
Launch of the Quality Improvement Plan 2022
The Hospital Quality Improvement Team (QIT) launched its Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) for the year 2022. This comes two weeks after the release of the SafeCare Assessment Report for 2021 which conferred the facility the Level 4 status.
The QIT was joined by members of the HMT and through its Chair, recommitted to push the hospital to the SafeCare Level 5 status in the next Safecare Assessment scheduled for July 2022
